Creating a postpartum plan

Calm preparation. Clarity. Support. Better recovery.

The postpartum planning support I’ve created is unique in Estonia. It is not a checklist of things to do in order to become a “perfect” parent. Rather, it is a 52-page practical plan, woven with gently supportive strategies, created from a sincere wish to make the postpartum period brighter and more held for families. This plan brings together my heart, my experience as a postpartum family caregiver, the knowledge gained through studies in Estonia and abroad, and the timeless wisdom of different cultures.

Why does this plan matter?

The postpartum period is beautiful — and often deeply unsettling at the same time. The moment when you’re told, *“You can go home now,”* is full of joy, yet it also carries immense responsibility. This is where real life begins: fragmented sleep, a body that is still healing, household tasks quietly piling up while your baby needs you around the clock. Many mothers later share that they don’t remember when they last ate a proper meal or had time for a shower — or how to organise support in a way that doesn’t leave everyone exhausted and overwhelmed.

Did you know that when you enter the word “postpartum” into Google, one of the most common search results is “postpartum depression”? Why do we speak so little about the challenges of the postpartum period? And why do we so often create a birth plan — but not a plan for the time that comes after birth?

What does a postpartum plan include?

A postpartum plan is a comprehensive (52-page) and practical resource, both an information guide and a supportive tool that brings together:

  • universal principles of postpartum recovery
  • a strengths- and support-based plan for mental wellbeing
  • gentle support for physical postpartum recovery
  • meal and nourishment planning
  • everyday logistics and shared agreements
  • building a supportive network
  • supporting baby and parent sleep
  • preparing the home for the postpartum period
  • nurturing attachment and supporting baby feeding
  • changes in maternal identity and self-care practices
  • an oxytocin plan and supportive rituals
  • including and supporting older children
  • a curated list of trusted postpartum specialists

This plan is designed to be used at your own pace — to be filled in, revisited, and returned to whenever needed. It is a form of support that stays with you.

Who is this for?

The postpartum plan is a good fit if you wish to care for yourself and your family with intention during the postpartum period — if you’re longing for clarity, a sense of being held, and a gentler rhythm, whether your baby has already arrived or is still resting safely in the nest of your womb.

If your baby hasn’t been born yet, you may want to prepare for a supported and mindful postpartum period and a gentle start for your baby.

If your baby has already been born, you may need someone to gently walk through each concern with you, one by one, and help you find supportive, workable solutions.

What does an online session give you?

We create a realistic, usable, and safe postpartum plan for your family—a practical roadmap for the first months. This is not theory, but a collection of real steps and agreements that helps you:

  • reduce exhaustion and overwhelm through practical steps and self-care practices
  • gently and consciously support your body’s natural recovery
  • create your own “village” and support network
  • Strengthen partnership and family functioning;
  • support mental wellbeing
  • feel confident in your choices, rather than overwhelmed.

It’s a clear framework, deep presence, and a personal strategy created for your family, easing the transition during the first months and giving you space to breathe.

What are you paying for?

  • my knowledge, gained through postpartum doula training (School of Wellbeing and Ancestral Wisdom, Estonia; Newborn Mothers, Australia; Sacred Window Studies, USA)
  • years of hands-on experience supporting families
  • Evidence-based information and an Ayurveda-supported recovery methodology;
  • A plan tailored to your family’s situation, not a generic checklist;
  • A space where you are allowed to be honest, vulnerable, and truly heard;
  • Practical steps that create clarity, calm, and the support needed for recovery.

🌿 🌿 A supported beginning isn't a luxury—it's a basic need.

This is the foundation on which you build your well-being for the coming months and years.

A postpartum plan is a gift to yourself: a calm start, a gentler journey, and the feeling that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

You deserve it.
Your body deserves it.
Your family deserves it.
